Job Overview: My client, a high volume manufacturer of injection moulded products is seeking to appoint 3 x Process Engineer to add value to its busy injection moulding facility as part of a dedicated process team. The role will primarily involve the continuous improvement of the injection moulded process ensuring optimum performance of a large fleet of injection moulding machinery. This will include tool trials, cycle time improvement, change over improvement, scrap reduction, optimisation of robots and ancillaries and so forth. The Process Engineer will work with production eradicate machinery based production issues. Additionally, this person will also assist in the training and development of others to raise the overall skills on shift. Main duties:

To support the department with regard to Injection mould processes and tool trials.

To assist the Mould Maintenance team as required to meet quality and scrap and waste reduction targets.

Data analysis, studies, reports and corrective actions to optimise injection mould processes.

To take both a hands on and co ordination role in order to reduce scrap and waste.

To support Mould trials both on site and at Tool makers as required to ensure smooth product launch.
