Supply Chain Development Co-ordinator
Location: : Sheffield - Sheffield
Rate: £ 15 to £ 17 K (full-time (per year))
A specialised role working for this well established, independently owned Sheffield company. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, your main purpose will be to set up and maintain the new supply chain database, generating reports and highlighting trends on supplier performance. You will co-ordinate the submission of prequalification questionnaires to all supply chain contractors, create and maintain electronic files, co-ordinate the selection & approval of new suppliers, screen initial contact from prospective suppliers, co-ordinate the quarterly submission of suppliers’ feedback on the company’s performance etc. For this role, you must have database management experience, be knowledgeable in supply chain management and lean principles. In return you will work for this leading organisation with blue chip clients throughout the UK.
